Three and a half years ago, an anonymous fiancee of an Electronic Arts employee posted her now-infamous blog entry talking about her partner's long working hours and the negative effects it had on their relationship.
The author of the post was later revealed to be Erin Hoffman, who was engaged to Leander Hasty (they later married), an engineer at Electronic Arts at the time of the diary entry. Hasty later brought a lawsuit against the megapublisher and was awarded $14.9 million, to be divided among former and current EA computer programmers.
