Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII--the much awaited PSP game which was released in the US in March this year--has finally been confirmed for release in Australia. Ubisoft has announced it will distribute the RPG down under for developer Square Enix, although no fixed date has been set for release.
As well as Crisis Core, Ubisoft has also won the Australian distribution duties for some other key Square Enix titles. Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors for the Nintendo Wii is slated for an autumn 2008 release, while Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift for the PSP is due in winter this year. Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme for the DS and the PSP have also been dated for winter 2008.
Ubisoft is also distributing the upcoming RPG The World Ends With You in Australia.
