Remember the other Sim games, remember how the graphics were so poor, and you had limited options. Well, EA announced that they are releasing The Sims 3 in 2009 with better graphics, a skill to freely roam around the streets and suburb (although not around the country), and tweaked it to have a more realistic personality such as would you want your sim to be mean to their parents and all the stuff you can do. Actually there are over 7 million combinations.
They also tweaked other items too, such as you can customize your house more carefully and customize how your Sim to look like with a bit more textures.
The Sims started back at 2000 where they sold over 9 million copies and translated into 22 languages, and The Sims 3 are released at 2009 for the PC. EA did not mention the game going into any console platform
